Description
The Ironside is the one wallet in the Just Pack range that does not simply fold shut. A single zip runs the whole way along the top, down the outer edge and across the base, and the fourth side is a plain folded spine with no zip on it at all. Pull it round and everything is shut in. RFID blocking is built in, so contactless cards cannot be scanned while they are inside. Closed it measures 11.5 by 10 cm and 2 cm thick.
Open it flat and the left leaf carries four stepped card slots, each one faced in leather so every mouth stays separately countable, the lowest slot the deepest and running right down to the bottom seam. A narrow vertical slip sits at the spine fold beside them.
The right leaf holds the coin pocket, closed by a plain leather flap hinged along its top edge with a stitched hem and softly rounded lower corners. There is no press stud, no magnet and no zip on that flap, so there is nothing on it to work loose. Behind the flap a flat full-width slip opens along its top edge, with one further narrow slot at the outer edge beside it. Notes go in the full-width cavity behind both panels, closed by the wrap-around zip.
Inside, the lining and every inner panel are the same genuine leather as the shell rather than fabric, and the stitching is tonal throughout with nothing in a contrast colour. There is no card window anywhere, inside or out.
Both outer faces are completely plain. No logo, no nameplate, no embossing. The only things breaking the surface are the generously rounded corners, one fine stitch line running just inside the zip, and the leather pull tab on the slider with its single domed rivet and a split ring alongside.
Colours
- Dark Brown: a deep chocolate brown with a pebbled, veined natural grain.
- Black: flat and neutral, with no warm cast, reading smoother and finer than the browns.
- Tan: a warm mid chestnut, the lightest of the three.
